Picture
Born in Marseille, France, I obtained my MSc and PhD in Neuroscience end of 2010, and joined Weill Cornell Medicine Qatar in 2011.  I earned a Board Certification as Lifestyle Medicine Professional from the International Board of Lifestyle Medicine. I am an Associate Professor of Biology, and I teach Biology and Neuroscience to premedical students at Weill Cornell Medicine Qatar. I serve in several commitee in Qatar, Regionally and Internationally and I am a member of the Mediteranean Neuroscience Society as well as the Society of Arab Music Research. I am Guest Editor at Frontiers and Medicina (MDPI) journals.

Alongside my duties of Teaching and Research in biology and neurophysiology, I enjoy
 music and how it speaks to our brains, gut, and soul, blessed by the teaching of:
- ABRSM Music Theory: Dr. Dalia Orabi
- Ney performance: M. Ibrahim Kadar
- Theory of Morrocan Andalusian Music, Al-Ala: Pr. Amin Chaachoo 
This continuing education allows me to explore in my shcolarship the intersection of Neuroscience with Arts and Societies.
